Hello World – This is Trish!

Introductory post picWhat an exciting day this is, I have just created my very first blog and it’s my turn to say “Hello World!” I thought that an introduction would be the best place to start, just to let you know who I am and what I’m into. If you’re going to follow or read my blog, you’d certainly want to know a little about the person behind the words on your screen.
I’m Trish, also known as the Tarot Gal to some of my friends and I’m one of those happy people who seem to smile at just about everyone! I have been reading for years and always had a keen interest in the spiritual, supernatural, esoteric, and divinatory side of life. My grandmother was very intuitive and used to do tea leaf and tarot readings from her home. Those were the days when getting a reading done was a very secret thing, but people still talked! My Gran had a bit of a reputation and her tarot and tea leaf readings were the talk of the town, and I always wanted to carry on the tradition, which I did once I inherited her treasured Tarot deck.
That said, I am not a professional reader, but I do read for family, friends, and the odd referral. I prefer to exchange readings when I can, as my day job keeps me fairly busy! So this brings me back to my blog and why I’ve decided to share my thoughts, inspiration and ideas with the world, and you. There are so many likeminded souls out there and consider this my effort to connect with some of you.
Whether you’re experienced and a true seeker, or whether you’re someone who is just curious about Tarot and want to find out more, keep watching this space as I’ll be sharing what I know as I go along. This is not going to be your run-of-the-mill tarot blog but rather a fun, interactive, and informative window into my world.
Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you back here soon! I’ve found some really awesome Tarot related videos that I plan on sharing in some of my posts, so keep your eyes peeled.
